New Changes to Philadelphia’s Business Taxes
Please join a virtual briefing regarding the upcoming changes to Philadelphia business taxes (BIRT - Business Income and Receipts Taxes).
The changes mean that anyone, with any business activity, will have to pay BIRT starting in January 2026.
This includes part time Uber drivers, etc. These gig workers will now have to file a BIRT tax return for their business activities...
